La Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n°4 of the Oreca team, driven by Olivier Panis, Stéphane Sarrazin and Nicolas lapierre won the Algarve 1000 km, in Portimao. The trio from the Var team completed 215 laps, five laps ahead of Nicolas?s Lola Rebellion Cheers and Neel Jani. La Lola Aston Martin No. 008 of the Signature team finished third, with 209 laps completed.
In LMP2, it was the Lola HPD Coupé from the RML team that won. The race, in GT2, was won by the Ferrari F430 GT n°96 from AF Corse, which started from pole. She finished seventh in the general classification. The second GT2 is the #95 Ferrari of Jean Alesi, Giancarlo Fisichella and Toni Vilander.
