Mattias Ekström (Audi S1) was once again the fastest in the second qualifying round of the World RX in Lohéac (Brittany). The EKS boss-driver beat Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus RS) and Kevin Hansen (Peugeot 208), well recovered after gearbox problems in the first session.
The Swede beat his brother Timmy (208) and Janis Baumanis (Ford Fiesta). Sebastian Loeb (208) set the sixth fastest time ahead of Toomas Heikkinen (Audi S1) and Ken Block (Focus RS). Petter Solberg (DS 3) completed the top ten behind Robin Larsson (Audi A1). Davy Jeanney (208) is 12th.
Andreas Bakkerud climbs to second place in the ranking ahead of Sébastien Loeb and Timmy Hansen. Ken Block is in fifth position ahead of Toomas Heikkinen and Petter Solberg. Davy Jeanney is ninth.
