World RX – Loeb on its way to Germany

Winner of Q1, Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot 208 WRX – Team Peugeot-Hansen) continued its momentum at Hockenheim by dominating Q2 on the German track.

Author of a benchmark time of 3'47″084, the nine-time world rally champion precedes his teammate Timmy Hansen and the Volkswagen Polo GTi – PSRX VW Sweden of Johan Kristoffersson.

Ken Block places the first Ford Focus RS RX – Hoonigan Racing Division in fourth position ahead of the Peugeot 208 WRX of Kevin Hansen. Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Peugeot 208 – DA Racing) set the 13th fastest time in Q2, when Guerlain Chicherit (Renault Clio) finished 20th.

Less success for Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus RS RX – Hoonigan Racing Division), only 20th, and Petter Solberg (Volkswagen Polo GTi – PSRX VW Sweden) 21st, who made contact during their heat.

After this first day, Loeb is ahead of Kristoffersson, Timmy and Kevin Hansen, with the three 208s from Team Peugeot-Hansen moving into the top 4.
