The Latvian Reinis Nitiss, lined up in one of the Audi S1s from the EKS RX team in the World Championship Rallycross last year, indicated on social networks that it would not extend its partnership with the world champion structure in 2016.

“It was a great experience and I will value the lessons learned and cherish the fun times we had, specifies Nitiss. Now it's time for me to look forward to other challenges in 2018."
Note that Mattias Ekström has indicated that he will announce his plans for 2018 next Monday during a press conference.
