Petter Solberg won the first qualifying round at Lydden Hill (Great Britain) by winning ahead of Johan Kristoffersson and Timmy Hansen. Toomas Heikkinen and Reinis Nitiss complete the top five. Davy Jeanney is only 24th. Anton Marklund had the 2nd fastest time but received a half-minute penalty due to an early start.
