Disturbed by various problems yesterday, Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3 – PSRX) and Mattias Ekström (Audi S1 – EKS RX) raised the bar during the last two qualifying rounds of the Holjes event in Sweden.
Johan Kristoffersson (VW Polo – VW Sweden RX) finished these qualifications in the lead ahead of Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus RS RX – Hoonigan Racing), winner of Q4 and Solber, winner in Q3. Sebastian Loeb (Peugeot 208 – Team Peugeot-Hansen) climbed to fourth position before the semi-finals, not without having lost big in a puncture in the last qualifying round.
