World RX Spa 1 – Kristoffersson resists
In difficulty at the start of the day, Johan Kristoffersson (Polo RX1e) quickly recalled that he was the boss of World RX.
The leader of the World Championship took advantage of an eventful start, notably with the clash between Niclas Grönholm (PWR RX1e) and Timmy Hansen (208 RX1e) to take control of the final. Used to leading the peloton, Kristoffersson scored his fifth victory of the season.
The Swede Gustav Bergström (Polo RX1e) was on the podium for the first time with third place behind Kevin Hansen (208 RX1e).
Niclas Grönholm and Timmy Hansen closed the Top 5 in this first final of the weekend.
