Timur Timerzyanov regains his leadership position in Montalegre (Portugal) after having his penalty canceled. The Team driver Peugeot -Hansen was downgraded during the second round for contact with Petter Solberg, but on-board camera footage proved that the Russian was not at fault. The driver of the 208 is thus ahead of the Fords of Andreas Bakkerud and Reinis Nitiss.
