World RX – Timmy Hansen starts well in South Africa

Timmy Hansen (Peugeot 208 WRX – Team Peugeot-Hansen) won the first qualifying round of the final of the 2017 season of the World Championship Rallycross in Cape Town, South Africa. The Swede is ahead of the two Volkswagen Polo GTi – PSRX VW Sweden of Johan Kristoffersson and Petter Solberg.

Andreas Bakkerud and Ken Block hoist their Ford Focus RS RX – Hoonigan Racing Division into the top 5 ahead of Timo Scheider (Ford Fiesta – MJP Racing Team Austria). Sebastian Loeb (Peugeot 208 WRX – Team Peugeot-Hansen) finished 7th ahead of Mattias Ekström (Audi S1 ​​– EKS RX).

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Peugeot 208 – DA Racing) took 17th place when Grégoire Demoustier placed the other 208 from DA Racing in 19th position.
