Timmy Hansen (Peugeot ) won the first qualifying round of World RX in Barcelona (Spain). The Swede beat Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus RS) and Timur Timerzyanov (Ford Fiesta), while Petter Solberg (Citroën) and Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo), winner in Lohéac (Brittany), completed the top five.
Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot) set the seventh fastest time behind Mattias Ekström (Audi S1) while his teammate Davy Jeanney completed the top ten. Ken Block (Ford Focus RS) is 15th.
