Norwegian Andreas Bakkerud put the Olsbergs MSE team back on the path to success by winning the World RX final on the Istanbul track in Turkey, the penultimate round of the season. Ford Fiesta Supercar driver ahead of Timmy Hansen (Peugeot 208 – Hansen) and Toomas Heikkinen (Volkswagen Polo – Marklund). Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3) only took sixth place in the final after experiencing problems with his car at the start.
