The French Davy Jeanney will be the only Habs in the semi-final of the Belgian round of the World Championship of Rallycross in Mettet. The driver of the Monster Energy Citroën DS3 Supercar ranked 12th at the end of the qualifying heats. Jacques Villeneuve (Albatec Racing), just like the French Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Renault Clio) and Alexandre Theuil (Citroën DS3) and the Belgian François Duval (Volkswagen Polo) will not see the semi-finals.
Andreas Bakkerud (Ford – Olsbergs) was unable to overcome his handicap from yesterday after his engine problem. Victim of a broken suspension in Heat 3, the Norwegian saw his hopes disappear. More success for his teammate, championship leader Reinis Nitiss, who tore off a wheel yesterday, but who qualified for the rest of the weekend.
