Norwegian Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3) won the Canadian round of the World Championship Rallycross, contested in Trois-Rivières. He won in the final ahead of the Volkswagen Polo of Swede Anton Marklund and the Peugeot 208 from Russian Timur Timerzyanov, the latter two securing their first podium of the season. Less success for Jacques Villeneuve (Albatec Racing), eliminated before the semi-finals following a problem with the fuel tank of his 208 RX. Frenchman Davy Jeanney (Citroën DS3 – Monster Energy) failed to reach the final.
