Historic Tour of Corsica: registrations open on January 15
Registrations for the 22nd edition of Tour de Corse historique which will take place from October 2 to 8 will be open from January 15. The previous edition saw a record 350 crews entered divided into the three eligible categories: VHC (Historic Competition Vehicles), VHRS (Historic Sporting Regularity Vehicles) and Legend (exhibition without timing). Around a hundred requests were refused by the organizers in the face of this influx. Registration forms will be available online on the website: www.tourdecorse-histoire.fr.
Le rally will offer a unique route of around 900 kilometers, 350 on closed roads and 550 of connections. The program for the five days will include 18 special stages, some of which will be used in the World Rally Championship round.
Eligible car categories: VHC / VHRS / LEGEND
VHC (Historic Competition Vehicles):
– Historic competition vehicles from 1947 to 1985 with a PTH
– Classic competition group vehicles from 1977 to 1981 with a three-part passport
– Competition vehicles from the J2 period (1986 to 1990) with a PTH
VHRS (Historic Regularity Sports Vehicles):
– Vehicles from 1947 to 1990, four mediums to choose from (High – Intermediate – Low – Reduced)
Legend (exhibition without timing):
– Vehicles from 1947
