The preliminary entry list for the 12 Bathurst 2016 Hours (February 5-7), which will kick off the new International GT Challenge, was revealed this Thursday. If Nissan had already confirmed that it wanted to defend its title acquired during the 2015 edition, the GT-R Nismo GT3 of the Global Athlete Team will have a lot to do, notably against the armada of Audi R8 LMS and LMS ultra, led by the Phoenix Racing or the Melbourne Performance Center.
Bentley Team M-Sport alignera deux Continental GT3, alors que Maranello Motorsport will be one of the spearheads of Ferrari and the 458 Italia. THE McLaren 650S from Tekno Autosports (regular team in the V8 Supercars championship) with the trios Van Gisbergen-Parente-Webb and Bell-Davison-Watson or even the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 from Erebus Motorsport will be one to watch.
Note that the field should bring together several stars of V8 Supercars, in particular Graig Lowndes, winner of the Bathurst 1000 this year in the Australian series. The full preliminary list can be viewed here.
