Albon takes his first DTM pole position

A few weeks after his first podium in DTM during the meeting in Zolder, Alexander albon took his first pole position this Sunday morning on the short version of the Nürburgring. The AF Corse driver clocked a 1:36.773, 185 thousandths better than his main pursuer Daniel Juncadella (Gruppem Racing). The second row will be made up of Marco Wittmann (Walkenhorst Motorsport), currently fourth in the drivers' championship, and Michael Ammermüller (SSR Performance). 
Championship leader and winner of the first race of the weekend, Kelvin Van der Linde (Team ABT Sportsline) will start from seventh position.
The start of the second race of the weekend at the Nürburgring will be given at 13:30 p.m.
