While he seemed untouchable in the qualifying exercise this weekend, Liam Lawson (AF Corse) was surprised in the final moments of the session this Sunday. Holder of the best provisional time, the new leader of the championship was beaten by Lucas Auer when the checkerboard was agitated.
With a time of 1'32"414, the Team Winward driver finally beat Marco Wittmann (Walkenhorst Motorsport) by 7 hundredths. Liam Lawson is content with 3rd place, less than a tenth behind. Alex Albon (AF Corse) and Kelvin van der Linde (ABT) complete the Top 5.
