Twenty-one years after his last appearance in DTM, Manthey Racing is making its comeback! The German team, historic partner of Porsche, made official his comeback a few days ago by announcing the commitment of two 911 GT3 R (Gen 992) during this 2023 financial year.
And after confirming its return to DTM, a first since 2002, Manthey Racing has this time revealed the identity of its drivers. Not surprisingly, two drivers used to driving Porsche machines: Thomas Preining and Dennis Olsen. The Austrian and the Norwegian competed in the last season of the German Touring Championship with KÜS Team Bernhard and SSR Performance respectively on Porsche 911 GT3 R cars.
