Alexandre Prémat, official Audi driver in DTM, received a “ yellow card » from its management, according to Jürgen Pippig, press officer of the firm with the rings. The Frenchman is accused of having caused an accident at the start of the last race, in Lausitz. The pileup at the start of the race involved, in addition to Alex Prémat, Timo Scheider (Audi), Mattias Ekström (Audi) and David Coulthard (Mercedes), which annoyed Dr Ullrich, boss of Audi Motorsport.

The Frenchman's place at Audi could even be threatened since Pippig indicated that “cLike in football, the second yellow card means a red card ". Having reached the podium in Valencia, the former winner of the Le Mans Series will be keen to restore its image this weekend, at the Norisring. In good spirits since the 2008 and 2009 cars were put on an equal footing, Alexandre Prémat achieved great performances at the start of the season.
