After a slow start to the weekend, Audi seems to have found rhythm in EL3 of DTM in Hockenheim. René Rast was responsible for establishing the reference time in 1'32''931.
The reigning champion was more than two tenths ahead of Jamie Green, Timo Glock lifting the first BMW M4 DTM to third place while Gary Paffett, winner of Race 1, placed his Mercedes C 63 AMG in fourth position. Loïc duval (Audi) completed the Top 5 after returning from the 6 Hours of Spa where he was competing with TDS Racing.
