Le DTM will arrive at Norisring on July 4 on a ground where Mercedes has established himself as a boss for seven years now. The last victory for an Audi dates back to 2002 with Laurent Aiello. Timo Scheider, the double DTM Champion, almost broke this Mercedes domination last year. “ We have been trying to conquer the Norisring with Audi for years. I now make it a personal matter, after leading 80 laps last year ».
The other Audi drivers have also come back, but the Mercedes seem well on their way to obtaining another victory on this track, since they are outrageously dominating the Audis this season.
