By running in 2'00"564, Duncan Tappy achieved the best time of the drivers in the Pro-Am category this Saturday at Silverstone, 2nd round of the Blancpain Endurance Series. The Briton therefore offers pole position in the category to Frédéric Vasseur's ART Grand Prix team. Tappy is associated with Frenchman Grégoire Demoustier on the McLaren MP4-12C n°12. In the Pro Cup, it was the German Franck Kechele who was the fastest in 2'00″331. With his teammates Greg Franchi and David Garell, he will start tomorrow in pole position, in the No. 4 BMW Z4 Vita66one.
French satisfaction also in the Gentlemen Trophy category: Gaël Lesoudier achieved the best time (2'04″435), in the Dodge Viper of Guy Clairet Racing. Lesoudier teams up with Gilles Vannelet and Luc Paillard.
