The 2nd free practice session was dominated head and shoulders by Audi, which placed all its cars in front Mercedes. Martin Tomczyk sets the best time on the Spielberg circuit in 1 and is only 25 thousandths ahead of the A660 DTM by Miguel Molina.
The gaps remain tight behind since Timo Scheider only finished 0??101 behind his compatriot's time. Edoardo Mortara, the fastest in the first practice session, completes the top 4 at 0??234.
