Starting from pole position, Bruno Spengler took his second victory of the season at the wheel of his BMW M3 DTM from Team Schnitzer. Having made a good start, the Canadian was never worried during this sixth event of the season at the Nürburgring. At the finish, he beat the Audi A5 DTM of Edoardo Mortara by 6”703 and the BMW M3 DTM of reigning champion Martin Tomczyk by 10”802. Frenchman Adrien Tambay retired on the 15th lap.
