Miguel Molina took pole for Race 1 of the DTM at the Lausitzring (Germany). Audi took the first two rows of the grid with Jamie Green in 2nd row ahead of Edoardo Mortara and Mattias Ekström. Marco Wittmann lifts the first BMW to 2th place behind the Mercedes by Pascal Wehrlein. Maxime Martin (BMW) took 8th place. Adrien Tambay will start from last position following a penalty imposed for engine repairs carried out between two events.
