Miguel Molina (Audi) scored his second pole of the season in Race 2 of the DTM at the Nürburgring (Germany). With a time of 1'21"732, the Spaniard was two tenths ahead of the BMW of Tom Blomqvist and the Audi of Jamie Green. There Mercedes of Paul di Resta and the M4 DTM of Bruno Spengler complete the top five ahead of Augusto Farfus (BMW) and the C63 AMG DTM of Robert Wickens, Maximilian Götz and Championship leader Pascal Wehrlein.
Mattias Ekström (Audi) once again takes 17th position behind Maxime Martin (BMW), the winner of Race 1. Edoardo Mortara (Audi), new direct opponent of the best contender for the title, is only 20th. Adrien Tambay (Audi) is 22nd.
