After the clear domination of Mercedes yesterday at the Norisring, Bruno Spengler led the revolt at the wheel of his BMW M4 DTM, during qualifying counting for the second race of the weekend. The 2012 champion was four thousandths ahead of Christian Vietoris (Mercedes), who took pole for the first round yesterday. Robert Wickens (Mercedes) and Mattias Ekström (Audi) will share the second row while Lucas Auer (Mercedes – ART Grand Prix) and Pascal Wehrlein (Mercedes), winner on Saturday, will start from the third row.
Adrien Tambay (Audi) took thirteenth position.
