Augusto Farfus (BMW) set the best time in the only practice session of the DTM at the Lausitzring (Germany) where the drivers were only able to complete around ten laps, the program having changed due to persistent fog on the circuit. With a time of 1'22"622, the Brazilian is two tenths ahead of Marco Wittmann (BMW) who seems to want to fold the Championship tomorrow. Timo Glock (BMW) follows four tenths ahead of Daniel Juncadella (Mercedes) and Joey Hand (BMW). Miguel Molina lifts the first Audi to eighth place ahead of Maxime Martin (BMW), first more than a second behind the reference time. Mike Rockenfeller (Audi) completes the top ten. Adrian Tambay (Audi) only completed eight laps and set the final time.
