Jamie Green (Audi) set the best time in the first practice session of the final of the DTM in Hockenheim in Germany. The Briton from Team Rosberg completed a lap in 1'32″849, and is ahead of the lead by more than four tenths. Mercedes C-Coupé AMG of his compatriot Gary Paffett (ART Grand Prix). Tom Blomqvist completes the top three with the first BMW M4.
Championship leader Pascal Wehrlein (Mercedes) ranks 19th while his current runner-up Edoardo Mortara (Audi) takes 4th place. Adrien Tambay (Audi) is 17th while Esteban Ocon, called to replace Daniel Juncadella, finished in last position, he who will make his racing debut this weekend.
