Mike Rockenfeller (Audi) was the fastest in the first practice session of the DTM in Zandvoort (Netherlands) with a time of 1'32"009. The German was ahead of Antonio Félix da Costa (BMW) by 8 thousandths, while Augusto Farfus (BMW) was a tenth behind. The top six is completed by the M4 DTMs of Marco Wittmann, Tom Blomqvist and Maxime Martin. Gary Paffett placed first Mercedes in 9th place.
