Thanks to Miguel Molina, best time of the session in 1'23"130, the Audi clan showed itself the most in spirit this morning at the Nürburgring, after being dominated yesterday by the Mercedes and BMW. The first C63 of the star rises to second place at 85 thousandths with Christian Vietoris, first in EL1 yesterday afternoon, and followed by his teammates Lucas Auer, Gary Paffett and Felix Rosenqvist.

Maxime Martin was the fastest of the BMW clan, placing his M4 DTM in sixth position, 0″342 behind Molina. Title rivals Marco Wittmann (BMW) and Robert Wickens (Mercedes) are grouped in 9th and 10th positions. Adrien Tambay (Audi) ranks 21st. Qualifying for the first race will take place in an hour in Germany.
