Nico Müller (Audi) set the best time during the second practice session of the DTM in Moscow (Russia) with a lap completed in 1'44''570. The Swiss preceded Paul di Resta by two tenths (Mercedes) and six tenths Mattias Ekström (Audi). Jamie Green (Audi) and Gary Paffett (Mercedes) are the last to be within the same second.
Felix Rosenqvist (Mercedes), the replacementEsteban Ocon promoted to Manor in F1, finished eighth behind Robert Wickens (Mercedes) and Edoardo Mortara (Audi). Maxime Martin (BMW) finished 13th while Adrien Tambay (Audi) was in 19th place.
