DTM-EL2: Paffett and ART at the forefront

Mercedes continues its march forward DTM on the Dutch route of Zandvoort. After Robert Wickens yesterday during the first free practice session, Gary Paffett placed his Mercedes ART Grand Prix at the top of the FP2 timesheet, thanks to a best time achieved in 1'31"497.

The Briton is ahead of Marco Wittmann (BMW) by 180 thousandths and Daniel Juncadella (Mercedes) by 323 thousandths. Fourth at 0″349, Mattias Ekström places himself as the best representative of the Audi clan ahead of Maximilian Götz (Mercedes) and the BMW M4s of Tom Blomqvist and Timo Glöck. The Mercedes of Vietoris, Auer and Wickens complete the top 10 of the session.

In the French clan, Esteban Ocon (Mercedes) finished in 16th place, after a stint in the gravel trap, while Adrien Tambay lifted his Audi to 22nd position, 1″102 behind Paffett.
