Christian Vietoris (Mercedes) was the fastest in the third free practice session of the meeting DTM from Zandvoort in the Netherlands. The German driver set a benchmark lap in 1'31"569 and is ahead of five Audi drivers with Miguel Molina taking in his wake Nico Müller, Mattias Ekström, Jamie Green and Edoardo Mortara.
Robert Wickens, winner of the first race yesterday, and Paul di Resta (Mercedes) follow in seventh and eighth position ahead of the first BMW of Bruno Spengler. Timo Scheider (Audi) takes tenth place.
Esteban Ocon (Mercedes) ranks 20th in the session, while René Rast, called at the last minute to replace Adrien Tambay at Audi, still hampered by pain in his hand after the start incident yesterday, ranks last for his DTM debut .
