At the end of the second 45′ session of free practice this Friday, two Mercedes AMG-C Coupé lead the times. The experienced British Jamie Green achieved the best performance in 1'33, ahead of the Spanish rookie Roberto Merhi (427'1). The 33rd time went to last week's winner Bruno Spengler (653'3), his BMW preceding two other Mercedes, those of David Coulthard and Robert Wickens. Filipe Albuquerque is 1th with the first Audi ahead of that of Edoardo Mortara.

Adrien Tambay was content with the 16th fastest time, 1?5 from the lead, a small error in one of his fast laps at the end of the session saw him end up in a gravel trap.

The sun is out today in Zandvoort, but the chance of rain is high for Saturday and Sunday.
