Martin Tomczyk (BMW) is closely following the Mercedes Class C failing by just nine thousandths. Gary Paffett (Mercedes) follows in third place, 46 thousandths behind, while Bruno Spengler (BMW) and Mattias Ekström complete the top five. The first eight drivers are grouped into a tenth. Adrien Tambay (Audi) set the 20th fastest time in the session at 0 »460 from the best time.
