Jamie Green takes his fourth victory on the Norisring circuit after avoiding the numerous collisions which enlivened the rainy race. The pilot Mercedes ahead of the BMW M3 on the podium DTM by Martin Tomczyk, passed on the last lap by the Briton, and Bruno Spengler. Gary Paffett (Mercedes), leader of the Championship, failed at the foot of the podium in front of David Coulthard (Mercedes). Tough weekend for Audi which only placed an A5 DTM in the top ten with Mike Rockenfeller in sixth place. Adrien Tambay (Audi) takes 15th place after suffering a drive-through.
