Edoardo Mortara, winner the day before on the Hungaroring (Hungary), remained the fastest in the last practice session of the DTM in Budapest. With a time of 1'35''432, the Italian preceded Jamie Green by more than a tenth while Timo Scheider was almost half a second behind.
Audi remains in the party with six RS 5 DTMs in the top six completed by Mattias Ekström, Adrien Tambay and Miguel Molina. Antonio Félix da Costa placed the first BMW M4 DTM in seventh place. The first one Mercedes C 63 AMG, that of Maximilian Götz, is only tenth.
Championship leader Marco Wittmann (BMW) finished in 12th position, almost a second behind the benchmark. Maxime Martin (BMW) is 17th.
