Edoardo Mortara takes his first pole in DTM and will try tomorrow to give Audi its first victory of the season. With a time of 1'26"171, the Italian is a tenth ahead of Mercedes Class C of Bruno Paffett and the A5 DTM of Mattias Ekström. The BMW M3 DTMs of Martin Tomczyk and Joey Hand and Bruno Spengler complete the top six on the grid.
