DTM – Wickens’ first pole

Canadian Robert Wickens won his first ever pole in DTM, Saturday afternoon on the Norisring street circuit. At 24, the pilot Mercedes is playing its 2nd season in the German championship. He is ahead of his compatriot Bruno Spengler (BMW M3 DTM) and the Briton Gary Paffett (Mercedes AMG C-Coupé). Qualified for Q4, Genevan Edoardo Mortara (Audi RS 5 DTM) could not do better than 4th. On his Audi RS5, Adrien Tambay will start tomorrow from 11th position. The start of the race is at 13:30 p.m.
