DTM – First pole for Vietoris

Mercedes, rather struggling since the start of the season, raised his level of play in qualifying and took 3 of the first 4 places. Christian Vietoris took the first pole position of his career, ahead of Gary Paffett, the 2005 champion in this discipline. Jamie Green, who reached Q4 for the first time in Audi colors, will start 3rd.
