On the wet Spielberg track, Swede Mattias Ekström (Audi) took pole position for the second race of the DTM on the Red Bull Spielberg Ring in Austria. With a time established in 1'42″010, he is ahead of Mike Rockenfeller (Audi) by five thousandths and the Mercedes by Gary Paffett. Adrien Tambay (Audi) ranks 10th, while the best BMW is in 14th place with Martin Tomczyk.
