Audi Sport has chosen to place René Rast within Phoenix Racing while Mike Rockenfeller will play within Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline for the Hockenheim final contested this weekend.
The German will be responsible for securing the Teams title for Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline who lead the standings with a 25-point lead over BMW Team RMG. The manufacturer with the Rings also has a 37-unit lead over BMW. It is the Propeller brand that is best placed to win the Drivers' title since Marco Wittmann is in the lead with 14 points ahead of Edoardo Mortara.
