Bruno Spengler wins the final of the DTM at Hockenheim by resisting the attacks of Gary Paffett who returned in the last laps of the race. The Canadian wins the title with four points ahead of the driver Mercedes and thus offers the crown to BMW which this season made its return to the German discipline and which, as a bonus, offers itself the Teams and Manufacturers titles.
