Timo Scheider (Audi) will start from pole for the Zandvoort race, having performed well in qualifying for the Dutch round of DTM. If the best time of the session was achieved by Bruno Spengler in Q2 (Mercedes, 1?30??959), the latter, championship leader, was ousted in Q3 and will start in seventh position on the grid. In Q4, it was Timo Scheider (Audi) who set the best time (1:31:590), ahead of Gary Paffett (Mercedes, 1:32:286), Paul di Resta (Mercedes, 1:32? ?363) and Miguel Molina (Audi, 1?33??203). Alexandre Prémat (Audi, 1:32:065) was eliminated in Q2 and will start thirteenth.
