Briton Tom Blomqvist, son of the former world champion WRC Stig Blomqvist, will play this season in DTM on the eighth BMW M4 fielded by the propeller brand. The 21-year-old driver finished runner-up in the FIA in 2014 F3 European Championship behind the Frenchman Esteban Ocon. He took part in tests with BMW last December in Jerez, Spain.
