Martin Tomczyk (Audi A4) set the best time in the first free practice session of the DTM in Shanghai. The German rode in 1:00:858, ahead of two Britons fighting for the title, Paul di Resta (Mercedes, 1:00??887) and Gary Paffett (Mercedes, 1:00??916).
