Martin Tomczyk (Audi) wins the title in Valencia by finishing the race on the last step of the podium. The new champion ranks behind pole sitter Mattias Ekström and Filipe Albuquerque, which gives the ring manufacturer a new hat-trick.
Bruno Spengler (Mercedes) only finished in tenth position, after having missed his qualifications (13th place).
