Le DTM launched during the Austrian round held this weekend on the Red Bull Ring, the DTM drivers' association. Ultimately, this independent creation of the manufacturers involved in the series (Audi, BMW and Mercedes) aims to strengthen cooperation between drivers, organizers and the German Motorsport Association (DMSB).
Timo Scheider will be the driver representative for Audi, Timo Glock for BMW and Gary Paffett for Mercedes. Regular meetings are planned at each meeting.
