Victim of an impressive accident last Saturday in 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mike Rockenfeller will not participate in the fourth round of the DTM which takes place this weekend at the Lausitzring. A logical decision given the violence of the impact suffered by the young German, who currently occupies third place in the general classification after winning the second race of the season at Zandvoort.
This weekend, he will be replaced by the Dane Tom Kristensen, who returns for the occasion to a discipline in which he competed from 2004 to 2009.
Note that Mike Rockenfeller will not participate in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring next week either. An event that he had to compete in an Audi R8 LMS.
